" Là / Pas Là is about traces of what has been stigmata of a moment, planned futures and expected realities. Much of my work as an artist has been in photography, which is all about traces, and it has influenced my creative process in all mediums. I am interested by how a presence can be expressed within an absence”, and vice-versa. For example how can I fill and capture the life within an empty room? Is it possible to reveal the non-existence? Can I make existing things transparent? In reality, things do not simply appear or disappear, but rather they change their status regardless of their tangibility. The statuses 'missing' or 'gone' can differ in meaning and degree depending on the point of view” Artist said.
